ITS PPF Awareness training at CSCS in Lugano
On October 28, 2014, ITS PPF gave CSCS employees involved in IT procurement processes, an Awareness Training session at CSCS headquarters in Lugano.
The following topics were presented and discussed in detail:
◾GATT-WTO process
◾software licensing
◾contractual requirements
◾IT services versus “Staff Leasing”
Between eight and ten CSCS members were closely involved in each of the discussions.
Both Ralph Curschmann, Senior Manager Technical Procurement & Support (ITS PPF) and Jürg Häubi, Senior Manager Order & Contract Management (ITS PPF) found the participants’ questions most stimulating. The on-site meeting confirmed how informative personal discussions on these issues are and the value of regular exchange within this context.
