Welcome to the Informatiktage 2024 from 18 to 23 March 2024!
The Department of Informatics (D-INFK) and the IT Services (ITS) are joining forces to offer a wide range of different programmes on the topic of «IT security». The events are aimed at students, teachers, families and experts. Take advantage of this opportunity to delve deeper into the world of IT in workshops, lectures and exclusive guided tours. Visit the open day with a large exhibition area and examples of cutting-edge research.

Dr Rui Brandao, Director of IT Services (ITS) at ETH Zurich, and Andreas Nemeth, Director of Organisation and IT at the City of Zurich (OIZ), will provide an insight into the complex challenges that administrations face in order to meet current and future security challenges. Participants will gain insights into best practices for protecting critical data and infrastructures, understand the importance of a robust security culture and discuss the latest trends and technologies in IT security in the second part. Moderation and discussion led by Patrick Schaller, Senior Scientist, System Security Group of Prof. Srdjan Capkun, ETH Zurich.
