New Director of IT Services
We look forward to cooperating with Dr. Rui Brandao – welcome to IT Services!
Rui Brandao will start in his new role at ETH Zurich on 1 November 2016. We wish him a great start as well as much success in the future-oriented development of IT Services.
Rui Brandao studied at the University Zurich and completed his degree in Business Information Technology in 1996. He attained his doctorate at the University Zurich in Information Technology in 2001. After that, he collected valuable work experience in various areas of information technology. In particular, he led several IT units of Credit Suisse AG over the last 13 years, such as the global testing organisation, IT offshoring and areas of application development. He was also responsible for large-scale projects in application development, support, testing and IT infrastructure. Before joining ETH, he managed the consolidation and transformation of the global testing, support and IT infrastructure organisation. Before working for Credit Suisse AG, Brandao was employed by global consulting companies where he was involved in various mandates of information security, IT risk management, project management as well as IT revision.
