New Email “sending” Quota
While until recently each mailbox had a sending quota of 5000, the current quota is limited to 500 emails per day and mailbox.
Microsoft Exchange Server settings which allowed a 5000 recipient quota per mailbox within 24 hours, have been changed. Since July 23 2014 the quota has been reduced to only 500 recipients per mailbox within 24 hours. Internal distribution lists are not affected and are considered one single recipient. Users who have exceeded their sending quota will receive an error message.
Preliminary Information
ISGs and mail admins have been informed about the change. Customers who regularly send a large amount of emails have been notified directly.
