In about three weeks, I will give a lecture at the Bourbaki seminar, on the recent developments of sieve methods in settings related to discrete groups with exponential growth, the most prominent of which being the “affine linear sieve” that Bourgain, Gamburd and Sarnak have first developed.
The preliminary version of my lecture notes is now available; as I was rather inefficient concerning deadlines, I will not be able to make changes before the talk itself, which will be printed for participants in the
handsome Bourbaki format, but it remains possible to do so for the final “official” version that will appear later in Astérisque. I heartily welcome such remarks and corrections…
