Successful IT Business Service Certification for the ETH IT Services
As of June 25 2009, our organization is «ISO/IEC 20000» certified! This makes us the first Swiss university to receive this kind of certification.
ISO/IEC 20000 is an internationally recognized standard specifically aimed at IT Service Management, defining the requirements for professional delivery of IT managed services. Concepts are based on the following objectives:
- Customer focus
- Improved communication between IT service providers and customers on the basis of clear service descriptions and parameters defined in service level agreements
- Clearly defined principles for the entire service supply chain
- Risk reduction for relevant Business Services
