New cross-platform videoconferencing solution
With the new Scopia Desktop Client, videoconferencing is available right on your desktop, whether you use a PC or a Mac. The basic free release of Scopia allows you to participate in meetings organized by others; to organize and host your own meetings, you need the upgraded version, available at IDES for 150.- Swiss Francs. If you don’t have one already, you can also purchase the webcam necessary, starting at 115.- Swiss Francs.
With these, Mac and PC can not only communicate cross operating systems, you can also participate in larger videoconferencing settings across the globe. In addition to audio and video, Scopia will also enable you to share content (presentations, desktop-sharing) with up to 10 participants.
