Changes in telephony support

On October 1st 2010 the current telephony support channels will be discontinued. (Forms on www.helpdesk-anfrage.ethz.ch and e-mail teledienste@id.ethz.ch)

The above-mentioned support routes will be replaced by decentralized support groups who will be responsible for telephony support in the departments. Most of the members of these telephony support groups were already previously in charge of office and telephone set-up.

New from October 1, these support groups are now the exclusive contact point for telephony support. 
Support group members have been specifically trained and are knowledgeable in their field. In the coming months it will also be their task to inform their customers, telephony service users, that only the new support route is now available.
