The ongoing debate concerning transatlantic and intra-European surveillance has also unsettled private individuals, project managers and startup companies.
Can we reconcile productive use of Internet services with sufficient confidentiality and privacy protection? Is there any room for manoeuvre at all?
Starve the sniffing monsters
Every person must decide for themselves how much their privacy is worth. Those who decide to starve the sniffing monsters are doing themselves and the public a great service. Where illegitimate sniffing is frowned upon we can expect greater respect for fundamental rights.
