Analogue Sunset

Under the motto “analogue sunset” the media industry is preparing for the abolition of the analogue video interface.

Along with countless analogue video formats on video players this also affects VGA ports on laptops and computers.

Apple has already paved the way and for quite some time has dropped VGA in favor of DVI (and better quality). Other producers are following suit. VGA as an analogue port for technical presentations is becoming a discontinued model.
