Support Services
Support services cover 1st / 2nd / 3rd level support plus the complete life cycle of the workstation’s hardware and software.
Hardware Procurement
Laptops and desktops are procured solely by the ITS and chosen from the standard range as defined in our fleet policy. This allows better negotiation prices. The hardware renewal cycle is 4 years.
Fleet Policy
Software Licensing and Ordering
Each IT-support group manages and finances its organisational unit’s IDES licenses. This significantly reduces the customer’s administrative work. The support group also advises units on procurement of software products unavailable from IDES. These products must be paid by the respective professorship.
