Since October 2011 Reto Gutmann is director of the IT Services (ITS) at ETH Zurich. Guided by a clear vision and IT strategy, the 43-year-old ETH graduate aims to establish the ITS as an internal service provider.

ITS Director: Personal Information
Reto Gutmann studied electrical engineering at ETH Zurich. After graduating, he worked as a software engineer and project manager at Siemens Albis AG and as an IT consultant at Arthur Andersen. In 2001 he returned to Siemens Switzerland where his most recent job was as CEO of Siemens Solutions and Services AG. Gutmann, born November 2 1968, is married and has three children.
