Student support heavily weighted in ranking
ITS is pleased with the overall score achieved by ETH Zurich in the 2011 QS World Universities Ranking.
An efficient IT infrastructure offering stable and reliable services and support is crucial for the success of ETH Zurich as a leading university. The IT Services has been commissioned to provide the above ICT services. Efficient and effective use of our resources is primarily based on our customers’ needs.
This year saw the eighth QS Ranking published. QS currently ranks the top 300 universities in the world based on six indicators. These include a survey of 33,000 academics and 16,000 employers worldwide. Compared to the ARWU (Shanghai) Ranking, QS ranking is less focused on research, while student support and academic reputation is more heavily weighted.
